So this week last week January 17th to the 23rd was pretty good. Im sure that mose people have heard of the big news from last monday Where Elder Jermain Luther Walker was shot and killed. It was a pretty big shock to here about. He only had about 2 weeks until he completed his full 2 years. Some missionaries are saying that he went home a few weeks early. It happened right near spanish town where I was serving in a little area called de la vega city. My last companion Elder Roberts and I used to go in there pretty much everyday and teach people. So thats beent the big news this last week. Here in Mo Bay the week was pretty good. On monday we spent a good portion of the day doing cleaning up the house. I practiced the guitar and we went and checked out some stuff on whats called the "hip strip" The hip strip is basically the road that alot of the tourist shops and some hotels are and where the nicein Mo Bay are. We have some pretty cool investigators right now and we found a couple of them in some really cool ways. On Tuesday we walked our butts all the way to Norwood again. We have been doing that every day. Funny story, the first time we walked up there it was sooo long because we took a bass akward way and when we finally got there I told colucci that unless we find some good solid investigators up here it doesnt make sense to spend alot of time walking up here and not seeing more people that are closer. So wouldn't you know it the first person that we talk to Anette, was golden. She saw that we were hot and thirsty because of the long walka and offered us water. We started talking to her and she started reading the pamphlet right there and we pretty much taught her about the resotoration on the spot. So then walking away i thought about what I said about the solid investigator and said out loud "First person we talk to all the way up here is solid....You would God" So that was pretty funny But i wouldn't have it any either way. So this week we are walking around nor wood just got done with some appointments and were walking to another and we stop to look at a calibosh tree near someones yard. As we are looking at it a guy runs down to the gate and starts talkin to us and says there is someone on the phone who wants to talk with us. So I get on the phone and its a member in Canada and her fiancee is this guy. She was tellin him about church and stuff and how he should go then he told her he saw 2 white guys in shirts and ties and she told him to go talk to them. The guys name is Owen and he is pretty cool. Turns out she is coming here in Feburary to marry him. So she was tellin us how much of a miracle it was and how that right there confirmed even more to her that the church was true. So that was cool, but i felt like it put alot of pressure on us to help him when really its up to him but i hope things go well.

Then on our way down from Norwood we pass a gully and we decided to go down it and see if we could find some people. We go down there and start talking to some people, not too interested. We walk down some more and this little kid, maybe 5 years old starts yellin at us sayin " Come to mi yard" "Come see mi fahda" His name is milano and he runs from one side of the gully to the other just to come get us and take us to his yard. We go to his yard and meet Bruce, Bruce is a really nice humble, down to earth guy and he seemed to really be interested. Milano is really funny too, all Jamaican kids talk like they adults. Im going to put a vid up of Milano talking next week and just see if you can understand what he says. Bruce's sisters were real interested to so it was way cool.

On Wendsday the Zone leaders came to our district meeting and to go on splits with Elder Colucci and myself. My Zone leaders are Elder Peterson and Elder Fangalua. Elder Peterson is a really good friend of mine and was my ZL in spainish town. Elder Fangalua is pretty funny. They are good ZL's After District meeting Elder Peterson and I went and saw some people and that was cool. We have alot of fun when we go teaching and he usually always teaches me something new. We get along like we have grown up together, its crazy. The splits went good. On Thursday we went hunting and I got an Moose and a Racoon and some ducks and mounted them over my fireplace same day...no big deal. So let me tell you the funny incident of the week. We were walking back from a place called Peacview getting done teaching and awesome lady named terriann. We walk down this really steep long hill and at the end there is a pretty big curve. We get to the bottom and a truck lost control and went off the road and rolled and the driver was thrown from the truck and killed. The funny part is what happened next. So peopel are standing around looking at the truck so we join them. Then I see this Rhasta man and he has his staff and his bag, he walks down to near the truck and go through the stuff that flew out of the cab and he picks up a pizza hut box looks inside of it and takes the rest of the pizza of the dead truck driver. I started busting up laughing. It was one of the funniest things ive seen.

On Sunday we had 7 investigators come to church. That is the most i have ever had come. They were a little late and I was getting mad again because I thought we got stood up but then i look out and I see a group coming and then another group. We brought them into sacrament meeting and I felt on top of the world. It was awesome and the branch president had the biggest smile on his face. It was awesome. My random thought of the week was how cool would it be if aliens invaded earth and we had to fight them. Elder peterson agrees
